My personal travel diary

I once read a sentence on Nomadic Matt’s blog, written by Matt himself, that accused most travel blogs of being glorified travel diaries.

And I thought, “hey that’s what I do!”

You can’t put a stain on my sense of wonder, Matt, and I will glorify my diary from every international mountaintop I scale.

Because isn’t that what travel does to a person? It shakes your core so deeply that nothing is ever the same again.

So many of the people I love back home don’t have this opportunity to explore the world.

And I want to share these life-changing experiences with them because I believe the whole world deserves to be romanticized until everyone is in love with it again.

Sure, I’ll give you tips about how to get around these places because *capitalism* but I’m going to take the long way and tell you about the heart-warming stuff too.
